Well, after due consideration, I think the style of logo on my Hahn 45 BB SAA makes it a later model in the 1958-1971 run. I tripped over a pic of another one with a bullet-hole-like logo style I’m certain is the original one? Then mine in the second pic…

After getting new winter and summer vests for Christmas, I opened the one for summer. It was black like the SWAT vests. And that gave me an idea right off the bat. So here, I give you A.F.T.S.- Airgun Flix Tactical Squad!

I just won this one at auction yesterday afternoon. A Hahn 45 BB SAA pistol. Built in the 60’s I’m almost sure? It’ll join my other vintage Crosman Co2 guns in my collection. Like the Hahn model 166 Super BB Repeater already hanging there.

Well, after having to change my CC numbers with midwayusa.com to get a refund long overdue, I’ll be getting $94.24 back in the bank. So daddy went shoppin’! I went back to PA & bought another Umarex/Colt .177 pellet shooter in nickel with 5.5″ rifled barrel and the same black grips as last time. $179.99 marked down to $129.99. Honey had a coupon…[Read more]

I started a restoration of a Crosman 760 variant 2 in this video for a new friend from YouTube. Build date 10/73, I started disassembling it, removing broken screws, cleaning, etc.

It\’s been some 2 yeas since I did a food video, so here\’s a new one. Albeit a bit short. This time, I barbeque a couple chuck roasts rubbed with Fresh Chile Co seasonings.

Well, after two years of searching, outdated listings, a day late & a dollar short & greased grapevines, I finally found the .22cal version of the 2016 limited edition Crosman GuideHawk NP. It came from a pawn shop in Lincoln, Nebraska. But all that glitters is not gold…find out why by watching this video. I already own the only other version…[Read more]

    • Congrats. Looks like a fun shooter.

      • It has about the same power as my .22 Hatsan Striker 1000XS. (since I customized it, the “S” stands for Supergrade) of around 800FPS with lead pellets, 950FPS with alloy. I’ll have to try it with H&N Baracuda Greens (12.65gr) and see what the numbers look like?

And now that pictures have been mounted in those purty frames, they’re on the wall. I rearranged the A-frame rack too. The western painting in the first frame is by C Russell. The two above the Daisy 1894’s are by F Remington, left. And A poster from Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show from 1900.

I also shopped around Amazon for copies of famous old western paintings by Remington, Russel & Homer. Found the first two, and a copy of an old Buffalo Bill Wild West Show poster from the beginning of the last century! Not to mention, some beautiful Embossed white gold frames in 16″ x 20″ for $14.44…[Read more]

I moved the small Daisy 104 out of the Realtree wall rack to get the Crosman AIR17 off the floor. Built 8/86 and still feels like it isn’t completely broke in yet! It and the 66AB (6/86) above it give the German Diana 24D & RWS 320M some scale.

Got a pic of the guns together in the holsters/gun belt. Holsters are 19th century reproduction quick-draw. The RH is a cross-draw holster. Pistol on the right is the John Wayne Shootist commemorative.

Well, I think I finally got the man cave remodel done for the moment? A lot of cleaning, clearing moving things around…adding some new furniture. Throwing things out. But it’s been worth it! See why in this third installment.

And now, continuing on with another method of antiquing ivory wannabe grips. The grips off my John Wayne Shootist collector Umarex/Colt SAA pistol.
