Trying some .250 that I won this time, and I need to fix my Flashpup, it’s dropped in power. I had a few shots without a slug from one of my mags not cycling well with the slugs. Yeah, I agree which is why I cleaned it before I shot it. Somone, somewhere had shot this one or something, you know all the gunk they have in them when they come in new, this one didn’t have a lot in it, I was expecting to be a bit getting the junk out of the barrel, but this one took 5 patches and it was clean, I ran six more to make sure and…[Read more]

The old adage about cleaning a gun before firing it the first time, is still true. The best barrels can have smoothness issues, and a good cleaning is part of the solution to accuracy.
